Enterprise AI Procurement Tools

Structured tools for procurement leads, IT leaders, and risk teams working through enterprise AI evaluation and governance. Each tool is free for members and designed to support a specific stage of the procurement process. From initial readiness assessment through to vendor selection, cost modelling, and governance design.

These tools are intended to support internal planning and decision-making. They do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.

Enterprise AI Procurement Readiness Assessment

Assess your organisation's readiness across seven domains before engaging vendors. The assessment covers use case clarity, architectural direction, governance and data controls, commercial and cost modelling, vendor evaluation structure, operational ownership, and decision framework maturity.

Each domain produces a score and flags gaps that should be addressed before formal vendor engagement begins. The tool calculates your overall readiness band and recommends a procurement approach based on your results.

Enterprise AI Vendor Evaluation Scorecard

An interactive weighted scoring tool for comparing shortlisted AI vendors objectively across six dimensions: functional fit, governance capability, commercial model and total cost of ownership, integration and architecture fit, vendor stability and support, and compliance.

Supports up to four vendors simultaneously. A governance minimum threshold applies — vendors scoring below the threshold on governance are automatically disqualified regardless of overall score. Produces a ranked, defensible selection recommendation.

Enterprise AI TCO Calculator

Model your indicative total cost of ownership across licence fees, implementation, integration, internal labour, cloud infrastructure, training, and governance. Supports seat-based, usage-based, and hybrid pricing models across four architectural patterns.

Default cost multipliers are based on industry benchmarks. An Adjust Assumptions tab lets you override any figure with your own estimates if you have more specific data from vendor quotes or internal scoping.

An interactive RACI matrix covering the full AI governance lifecycle across six domains: strategy and governance foundation, use case approval and prioritisation, vendor evaluation and selection, commercial and contracting, deployment and go-live, and ongoing operations and monitoring.

Filter by role to see the full accountability picture for any function. A Role Summary tab shows how many activities each role is accountable, responsible, or consulted on across the lifecycle. A How to Use tab provides guidance on adapting the matrix to your organisation's structure.
